Crewnecks are the ultimate cozy staple in everybody’s closet right now. Pair them with matching sweatpants for a monochromatic look, or bike shorts for a more athleisure look. They’re equally great for running errands or lounging on the couch at home.
The problem with good sweatshirts is the cost. Lululemon is selling sweatshirts for $128. Aritzia is selling sweatshirts for $80. I don’t know about you, but I personally just can’t justify spending that much money on a sweatshirt.
I found a way to get the look of Aritzia and Lululemon’s sweatshirts for less. Way less.
And you’ll never guess how much the sweatshirt I found cost me.
Here are the sweatshirts from Aritzia and Lululemon:
And here’s the sweatshirt dupe I found:
Gildan 18000 Heavy Blend Sweatshirt – $9.56 !!!!
Yup, that’s not a typo. I really did find this sweatshirt for $9.56. And no, it wasn’t even on sale.
I found this sweatshirt on Blank Apparel, a website that sells wholesale sweatshirts, sweatpants, shirts, etc. Companies that sell wholesale clothing usually sell to other corporations who buy their product in bulk to be customized with logos for corporate events, sponsorships, etc. This is why their product is so cheap.
To get the oversized look, I purchased a size large (I’m usually a size XS or S). This particular sweatshirt comes in a bunch of different colours, but my favourites are the royal blue (as pictured), white, black, and ash.
